When the app connects

Public market-data and FX providers may receive limited request and connection data, such as symbols, dates, quote currencies, an IP address, and device or usage metadata, under their own policies. If you configure a provider-specific market-data API key, it is sent only to that provider for those requests.

App Store and website disclosures

Apple’s current App Store privacy label says Other Financial Info, User ID, Device ID and Other Usage Data may be collected and linked to you for app functionality or analytics. The label is developer-provided and Apple says it has not verified the information.

The privacy policy explains data paths across the app. For features available in the public build today, use this website’s availability status and the App Store listing.

This marketing website has no account, forms, application cookies or analytics code. Vercel processes ordinary request data such as an IP address, user agent, requested URL and timing to deliver and protect the site. Email support is handled outside the website by the relevant email providers.

Before any public direct release

The app must be Developer ID-signed and notarized, with a published version and checksum. Crypto Analyzer will never ask you to bypass Gatekeeper or suppress a macOS security warning.

For iPhone and iPad, use an App Store link only while this website marks the release available. When the dedicated Mac app launches, download it only from cryptoanalyzer.app and verify the published version and checksum. Crypto Analyzer never asks for a seed phrase, private key, exchange password or permission to move assets.

Does Crypto Analyzer connect to my exchange?

No. The current App Store release supports Coinbase retail, Coinbase Advanced Trade, Coinbase Pro, Crypto.com App Token Wallet, Binance Spot transaction history and Kraken Ledgers. You choose the file from Files; Crypto Analyzer does not ask for an exchange login or trading access. Treat changed or unlisted formats as unsupported until this website and the App Store mark them available.

What data leaves my device?

The privacy policy describes imported transaction history, portfolio balances and calculations as app-local.

Does it submit my taxes to HMRC?
No. The current release organises UK capital-gains records using same-day, 30-day and Section 104 matching, and can export supporting detail for review. It does not submit a return, determine your obligations or replace professional advice.
Can I explore it without my own data?
Yes. Choose “Try Demo First” in the app to load a clearly labelled sample portfolio and explore the product before importing anything.
Which Apple devices are supported?
The current app is made for iPhone and iPad and requires iOS 18.1 or later or iPadOS 18.1 or later; the App Store edition is not verified for macOS. The dedicated macOS 12+ edition is separate, being polished and not publicly downloadable yet.

Never send an unredacted transaction export, wallet address, seed phrase, private key, password or API key.
